Zoë Chowney was born in South Africa, where she developed her passion for art from a young age. She honed her craft at Stellenbosch University, earning both a BA and an MA in Visual Arts, where she delved into the exploration of form, material, and meaning. Inspired by the natural world and the emotional connections between objects and people, Zoë's work bridges the gap between fine and wearable art, blending academic rigor with intuitive creativity to create pieces with powerful personal significance.

Zoë's latest body of work reflects her keen interest in the emotional and symbolic connections between objects, the body, and the viewer.
