Welcome Hello again from the Hippo team! South Africa’s biggest year is well under way and the hype surrounding the upcoming FIFA Soccer World Cup is sure to reach a frenzy by the time the first game kicks off on 11 June. We hope you’ve secured your tickets by now – it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be a part of something great, and we can’t wait. In the meantime, it’s business as usual at the Hippo – the usual luxurious suites and warm hospitality for our hip guests, that is!
The Romantic Weekend Valentine’s Day is less than two weeks away and happens to fall on a weekend (Sunday). Established a few years back in 496 AD, it is a day of expressing love for others. And what better way to express your love than booking a weekend for you and your loved one at the Hippo. There might be great shops and restaurants in walking distance, but we can also do room service, should you decide to spend the weekend in.
